Winter break! Woo hoo!
Been doing so much work this term. I'm glad it's done. I'm not too particularly happy about grades, but I won't dwell on them.
Christmas season is among us and you know what that means! Buying cheap gifts for family and friends and NOT celebrating the birth of Jesus! Yay! Working in retail, you get to see what kind of gifts people buy for others. If it ain't $5, then it ain't worth it.
Anyways, I'm glad to say that I get a new phone. I was hoping for the Droid, but my parents don't want to pay the extra $30/month, even after I said that I would pay for it myself. So I ended up picking the Samsung Rogue, which is only an extra $10. I know some apps work on that at least... But yay physical keyboards! I'm not too fond of the touch screen keyboard, so this one is nice (although I have a feeling this has a touch screen one, too).
Winter break has led me to browse through online stores and I have been really holding back on buying things. There are so many cute things I would like, but I'm saving up this break for better things. (On that note, Passion Pit is coming to Boston on Jan 6th! Chyea baby~ and Parachute is in the day after. If only I could see both!)
I'm so excited to work this break! I didn't have any hours today, but starting tomorrow, I'm working till Christmas and then starting again the day after. Planning on making some moolah. I bought this dress a while ago for a formal and I also got my brother a present, so that really brought my balance down... I need to put some back. Haha.
