Sooo! I just got a new car. Yup. This little girl is going places now. No more embarrassing mini-van that is bound to break down at any minute. Although it's year and mileage could have been better (and I have found better for much less), my parents surprised me with a gray pearl 2006 Toyota Corolla LE~! It has about 50,000 miles on it and a sun roof! Oooh~ That's pretty good for summer.
But unfortunately (and fortunately), I won't be getting it until next weekend because my family and I are going up to Canada! It seems like a lot of people are going this time. I've talked to a few co-workers and two of them were planning to go up around this time, one to Montreal and the other to Toronto. I'm just going to Toronto for a wedding, so I expect this won't be entirely exciting, but hopefully we'll be doing fun touristy things.

It's been about a month since school ended. Already, I miss school and I want to go back. Working and then doing nothing around the house is really depressing.
My work schedule is pretty stupid. So far, my normal work week starts on Wednesday and ends on Sunday, so Mondays and Tuesdays end up being like my weekends. The downside of that is everyone else is doing stuff over the weekends, because that's the only time they can do it, and I'm stuck working and dealing with poopy people all day.
The only upside, but downside for him, is that he is pretty much free all the time, so I can see him on my "weekends." I keep encouraging him to find even pointless jobs along with internships, but he just won't listen to me. If he continues to not take my advice, then he should stop complaining about having no money. I mean, you're looking for a job, not a career. Making money by doing stupid jobs. That's what you've got to do. Whatever. He's such a little boy.
These schedules are making me slightly depressed. I have a constant pain in my chest and it's bothersome. They're coming so frequently nowadays and it worries me. They hurt...
Ahhh... oh well. Work tomorrow and Sunday. Freedom comes slowly once again.

I'm very... late. I randomly decided to check JobFinder today because I was curious as to what internships were available. I didn't bother applying earlier because I felt my experiences weren't up-to-par. I shouldn't have doubted myself. Someone I know got a great internship UTC Power and he doesn't do that well in school. I mean, I do better and even that's not impressive! hehe.
Well anyways, looks as if I'm applying somewhere. Just one place. It may be somewhat late. I'm not sure when the deadline is, but I hope I get it in on time. It would be a great place to work. Get to be in a chemistry lab doing chemical and chemical engineering things! Wish me luck...
It's finals week this week and next and it's moving somewhat quickly. Last week was basically a bull-shit week at my school and has thrown off my work schedule. I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things.
Updated my resume today. I completely forgot about adding my chem eng projects from this year! I can't believe it went past me, especially since I've done so many this year... I think I've done about 11! So I guess it was true that sophomore year for chem engs is basically projects. haha. It was rather annoying... These huge projects on top of exams and homeworks. But I can't wait to actually be in a lab and work on reports next year.
I think I have to go back to my homework and stop procrastinating.

It's almost the end of term! Just two days, 1 quiz, 1 project, and 2 more finals until I get a week break from school!
This term has been so hard... I'm taking Physics 1, Organic Chem II, and Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics and the work load is much more than what I've ever had to do. I have homework assigned everyday in Physics, along with homeworks every week for chem eng. But there's also projects for chem eng, which I end up working on everyday for a couple hours with my group. Ahhh I just want this to be over.
So, many people that I've talked to are going away for spring break. Unfortunately, I'm just going to be home all week. I'm going to try to do things though. Fun crafts that I haven't done in a while... Yup. I have a feeling that I'll just be sitting in bed watching TV all day. hahaha...
Alice in Wonderland comes out tomorrow! I want to watch it in IMAX 3D, so hopefully I get to see it this break. It looks so good. Now to get him to get tickets... :D

I'm so excited for Wednesday! I'm going spend the entire day in Boston before going to the Passion Pit concert later that night. Gonna go to Chinatown for dim sum and baked goods, and then go ice-skating and some other things, so hopefully we'll get there early so we can do everything~! haha
So I saw Avatar in IMAX 3D. Oh my gosh. There really is no other way to watch it. The whole 3D-ness was so amazing and it was just so crazy the entire time! hahaha As for the movie, it actually made sense. The trailer didn't make much sense to me, so coming into this movie, I had a really vague idea as to what it was really about. Some of its concepts were kind of, ehh... but other than that, it was pretty good. :)
I also saw Fantastic Mr. Fox on Saturday. It was such a funny movie. I love the sudden actions that contrast with the slow movements that happened the scene before. I can't really explain it... There was this breakfast scene where the pancakes sat in front of him. Mr. Fox looked at hit and just suddenly engulfed it and it was so loud and messy. I laughed really hard in the theater.
I have a feeling that I've read the book when I was younger, but now I want to get myself a copy.
What am I to do the beginning of this week?! I have plans for Tuesday night through Thursday, but I have no idea what I'm doing until then and afterwards. I don't have any work this week so it's gonna be pretty icky. Luckily I have a couple shifts before school starts. Will make about $500 this break, probably a little more. Man, I need an internship. At least then I won't have to work as much as I do now and still get more pay.
PS - Did anybody else watch that Christmas special thing? I didn't watch the entire thing and missed Beiber, but I saw it on YouTube. He's so adorable and sings so well! I feel like I'm 12 again...
